LASBT is a multi-agency service comprising staff from Leeds City Council, BITMO (Belle Isle Tenant Management Organisation), West Yorkshire Police, West Yorkshire Fire service (Arson Task Force) and Victim Support.
Three area-based teams deliver the service in line with the three Housing Leeds ‘localities’ - East, South and West of the city, responding to direct reports from members of the public and referrals from partner agencies, MPs and councillors.
LASBT will typically deal with behaviour that falls below the threshold necessary to be termed ‘Crime’ or which invites criminal justice sanctions and above that which could be reasonably resolved through tenancy management, or independent mediation.
