Building Schools for the Future in Leeds

Phase 1 launch - September 2008

This short film captures the first impressions of staff and young people at four Leeds schools during their first days in stunning new learning environments opened in September 2008.

The state-of-the-art facilities have been created through the first phase of Leeds' Building Schools for the Future Programme.

Leeds BSF is delivered through the Leeds Local Education Partnership (LEP), which brings together Leeds City Council, Education Leeds, the government's Partnership for Schools (through Building Schools for the Future Investment), and the Interserve-led consortium Environments 4 Learning (E4L).

While E4L provides the very latest in design, construction and management of learning environments, Leeds has also secured a separate partnership with learning technology specialists RM to provide the very best cutting edge ICT to unlock the potential of the BSF schools.
