The Library Service runs a programme of learning sessions to help you get the most out of computers and the Internet. Please ask at your local library.
Based in Leeds Central Library, this is an audio-visual media project providing free access to a production studio, training, accredited qualifications and an Industry Panel of creative professionals working in design, music, video and media arts. For people aged 16 – 30 who are living in Leeds, with priority given to people not in education or employment.

Improve your English, Maths and Computer skills by enrolling on learndirect’s free online courses, supported by tutors. With learndirect you can learn in one of their centres, at work or online. There are Learndirect centres
in Leeds city centre (LS2), Hunslet (LS10), and Bramley (LS13).
Offers education, support and training projects, including Employability Skills, Confidence Building, and Basic Computer Skills

Through their extensive networks they are also able to provide access to apprenticeships and job opportunities. If you are looking for work in the building industry, then signing up to renew’s Construction Workers’ Register is a great way of finding out about employment and apprenticeship opportunities.

Leeds City College
The UK’s third largest Further Education establishment offers courses which cover almost all subject areas and include full and part-time academic and vocational qualifications from basic skills to apprenticeships and A Levels to Foundation Degrees.
