Take One… Picture
Take One… Object
Take One…
An exhibition celebrating creative exploration by young people, qualified teachers and trainee teachers inspired by the collections at Leeds Art Gallery and Artemis - 17 March to May 2011 in Artspace at Leeds Art Gallery
Run between September 2010 and March 2011, the Take One and Take One Picture projects encouraged the use of one object or picture as a stimulus for developing pupils' critical and creative thinking skills as well as their learning across the curriculum.

There was an emphasis on collaborative working - between pupils, classes, teachers, parents, schools and external partners - and the objects and artworks helped to make links with the local area and strengthen pupils' sense of identity. The resulting exhibition shows the innovate ways in which all involved responded to this way of working and celebrates everyone's creative exploration. "Very inspirational project. The children have loved working hands on with objects and I have especially enjoyed exploring with them a different way of thinking and working."
