Leeds Art Gallery welcomes Further and Higher education groups to investigate and enjoy our temporary exhibitions, collection displays and building. We can facilitate use of our gallery spaces, artworks and, where appropriate, Studio or archive for creative and critical exploration.
We have a track record of working in partnership with group leaders to design and deliver introductions, workshops and seminar to meet the curricula needs of Adult, Diploma, Degrees and Post graduate qualifications. Recently we have worked with Introduction to Art, Foundation Studies, Museums Studies, Cultural Studies, History of Art, Fine Art, Initial Teacher Training, Childhood Studies and Classical Civilisation courses.
Our lunch-time talks, special lectures and temporary exhibition events, as well as Art of the Life Model led by Nina Kane and research library offer additional opportunities for adult learners. Visitors are actively invited to draw in our galleries or to use Artspace where materials and temporary exhibition or collection linked activities are available.
