Your Baby Naming Celebration:  A naming ceremony is a non religious ceremony, to welcome a new baby, adopted or step children into a family. Ceremonies have no legal status.  You can lead the ceremony yourself or you can find a trained 'celebrant', who can help you to prepare the ceremony and lead it on the day. Organisations such as The British Humanist Association (BHA) can arrange a special ceremony to welcome your child or you can contact Leeds City Council's Register Office.
