This summer Abbey House Museum joins the National Year of Reading with a series of Family Fun Afternoons, every Tuesday 1-3 pm, based around themes in children's literature. Explore the enchanting world of witches & wizards and fairy tales and be engrossed by detective stories, science fiction and horrible tales from history.
Thursday gives families a chance to Be a Victorian (10am- 12noon & 2-4pm). There will be a variety of activities in the Victorian Streets and costume is provided so everyone can be a Victorian for the day.
Every Friday we invite families to join us for a morning of Friday Fun 10am-12noon. Each week there will be different activities and treasure hunts to take part in.
No booking is required and normal admission applies for all of these activities.
