Memory Lane Morning: The Monarchy - Thurs, 18th March (10:30am to 11:30am)

Reminiscence sessions for older groups facilitated by a Visitor Assistant, using objects from the 1950s - 1970s to act as memory triggers.  Suitable for groups of 5 minium and 15 maximum.  Booking is essential, please call 0113 230 5492.

Talk:  Victorian Pioneers of Archaeology - Fri, 19th March (2pm to 3pm)

Talks themed around 19th century people.  This month Lauren Ryall-Stockton (Curator of Archaeology) talks about The Honerable Mrs Meynell Ingram of Temple Newsam: Victorian Chatelaine Extraordinaire.  Cost is £3.50 per person (no concessions).  Booking is essential, please call 0113 230 5492.

Hunt the Chicks - Mon, 5th April (during opening hours)

Find the Easter chicks hidden around the museum for the chance to win a prize.

Farm Family Fun - Tues, 13th April (1pm to 3pm) and Fri, 16th April (10am to 12 noon)

Fun farm craft activities inspired by the Park Life exhibition. 

Victorian Talks - Fri, 16th April (2pm to 3pm)

Join us one Friday per month for talks by curators on the theme of The Victorians.  Booking is essential, please call 0113 230 5492 to avoid disappointment.  Cost is £3.50 per person (no concessions).  

Street Kids - Sun, 18th April (2pm to 3:30pm)

One Sunday per month Abbey House Museum runs a family craft afternoon in the Victorian Streets.  These afternoons are linked to national days or events.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Messy Monkeys - Weds, 21st, Fri, 23rd and Fri, 30th April (10:15am to 12noon and 2pm to 4pm)

Join us in our messy room and be a Messy Monkey!  Fun with paints and art materials, and the best bit is... we clear up afterwards!  Please wear suitable messy clothing - we make a lot of mess!

Memory Lane Sessions - Thurs, 22nd April (10:30am to 11:30am and 2pm to 3pm)

Come along to Abbey House Museum and share your memories of the good old days with others.  Special themed talks with staff will include museum objects from the past.
