Abbey House is located just three miles out of the city centre on the main A65 road to Kirkstall. Located in accessible yet tranquil surroundings, Abbey House Museum is just a short distance from Kirkstall Abbey and its surrounding park.

Our Flexible Family Ticket: We know that families come in all shapes and sizes, so our family ticket is flexible – up to 2 adults and up to 3 children and is only £6.50. For example you can be; a family of 4 with 2 adults and 2 children, a family of 4 with 1 adult and 3 children, a family of 1 adult with 4 children or a family of 5 with 2 adults and 3 children.
How to find us
By Car: from Leeds City Centre follow the A65 (Kirkstall Road) for approximately 2 ½ miles. Abbey House can be found on your right approximately ¼ mile after the Kirkstall Retail Park, opposite Kirkstall Abbey.
By Bus: 33, 33a and 757 travel from the city centre to Kirkstall Road.

Car Park: A large FREE car park is situated next to Abbey House Museum. Disabled parking is also available.

Visitors with learning disabilities should contact our Visitor Services Team if they have specific needs or requirements prior to their visit. Many of our interactives and displays are aural and not solely visual. We are able to arrange an explainer, if we are given two weeks prior notice. For visitors with hearing impairment an induction loop system is fitted, we cannot yet offer BSL tours (but hope to be able to soon).
