Although the public sewerage system is the responsibility of Yorkshire Water, we must make a copy of the statutory sewer map available for inspection by the public, free of charge, at all reasonable times.
You can inspect the statutory sewer map at the Development enquiry centre, Leonardo Building, 2 Rossington Street, Leeds LS2 8HD.
The statutory sewer map is provided by Yorkshire Water. It only shows public sewers owned by Yorkshire Water. It does not show private drains. You may need to arrange your own survey by a competent party to find the location of a private drain.
You can buy printed extracts of the statutory sewer map from Yorkshire Water, Network Records Unit, Woodside, Western House, Western Way, Halifax Road, Bradford, BD6 2LZ (tel: 01274 692334). Searches (by solicitors, etc) should be sent to Yorkshire Water at this address.
Please note that statutory sewer map may not show full coverage of public sewers for properties built before 1937.
