Do you ride a bike? Ever thought of cycling to work? Would you like support from a Bike Buddy?
The road safety team will provide you with a ‘Bike Buddy’ to help increase your confidence whether an existing rider or complete novice to on-road riding. There is an option to meet your Bike Buddy before you ride, at a time and place of your convenience, thereby giving the opportunity to discuss any issues or concerns that you may have.
Your Bike Buddy will help you find the safest, most direct route and ride it with you. The rides may simply be recreation routes, home to work, work to home or a combination of each. You can even arrange a lunchtime ride.
