There are 3 types of maintenance undertaken by Leeds City Council on the roads and footways of Leeds:
Reactive Maintenance
Emergency and urgent repairs of potentially dangerous road and footway defects.
Planned Maintenance
A yearly programme of roadworks which is planned in advance based on inspections by our Highways Inspectors.
Routine Maintenance
Generally minor highways maintenance works which are identified throughout the year.
