Summer Reading Challenge

The Summer Reading Challenge for young readers has kicked-off in libraries.  If  you haven’t signed up yet make sure you do soon to enjoy some great books and receive some novelty prizes along the way.  Just read six books over the summer.  Sign up at your local library today or visit  www.breezeleeds.org for further details.

Darren Shan Competition

Closing date Friday 12 September.

Calling all Darren Shan fans aged 11- 19.  Leeds Libraries have a great opportunity for you to meet and interview teen author Darren Shan – the “master of horror” on Monday 6th October.

To enter the competition, just tell us which three questions you’d like to ask Darren if you met him in person.  The prize includes afternoon tea with Darren Shan in Leeds City Centre for you and 2 friends plus a signed copy of his new book, Wolf Island – Vol 8 in The Demonta series.
