Gymnastics training scheme

gymnastic training scheme Leeds City Council operates the elite performance programme of its city-wide gymnastics scheme at the Carnegie regional gymnastics centre.

The gymnastics training scheme supports performance gymnastics in three sections; men’s artistic, women’s artistic and acrobatic gymnastics and tumbling. Gymnasts from leisure centre classes must be selected to attend trials for entry into the training scheme.

The gymnastics training scheme is operated by three head coaches and a number of part time coaches. The scheme works closely with City of Leeds gymnastics club which acts as the competitive outlet for gymnasts on the scheme.

Adult Classes

Adult classes at Carnegie Gymnastics Centre are available on:

Thursdays from 7.30pm - 9.00pm, and
Sundays from 11.30am - 1.00pm

Sessions are led by 2 fully qualified gymnastics coaches.
