Fantastic four lead the way!
Four of our most dedicated Bodyline members can now be seen across the city on a range of advertising that even includes billboards. The four, (three of which are shown in the picture below) have shared their fitness goals and personal experiences to inspire many more Leeds residents to kick start their fitness regime.

Bodyline membership
If you attend a leisure centre more than once a week you could save money with a Bodyline membership card. There is a range of cards depending on the activities you would like to attend.
Card packages will give you access to all, or a combination, of the following great deals
- free access to all 20 leisure centres across Leeds
- free access to 13 modern fitness studios, equipped with state of the art cardiovascular and resistance equipment.
- free swimming in 18 swimming pools
- free access to fitness classes
- free squash for individual card holders
- flexible pricing to allowing you to purchase a Bodyline Card which matches your fitness needs and your budget
- single cash payment or monthly payments on direct debit
- fitness programmes

- no initial joining fee

Card types

Premier card – access to Bodyline gyms, fitness classes, swimming and squash at any time of the day and at any leisure centre.

Gym and swim – access to Bodyline gyms and swimming at any centre at any time.

Fitness and swim – access to fitness classes and swimming at any leisure centre at any time.

Discounted prices for partners - all the above cards are a available on a plus basis for two adults residing at the same address.

Off peak premier – access to Bodyline gyms, fitness classes, swimming and squash at any leisure centre during off peak times (from opening until 4pm for the Bodyline Gym and 4.30pm for swimming, squash and fitness classes Monday – Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday).

Junior cards - are available for young people aged from 8 until their 19th birthday. Junior cards must be linked to an adult card.
Leisure centres
Your Bodyline membership will entitle you access to all 20 Leeds City Council leisure centres including the newest addition, the world-class Aquatics centre at John Charles centre for sport.
Corporate Bodyline card membership

Over 3000 cardholders are on the corporate Bodyline scheme saving themselves between 5% and 20%.
If you work for any of the companies listed below you could save more by joining the corporate scheme.
Prices start from £20 (off peak with 20% discount) to £31.20 (Bodyline premier membership with 20% discount). The full range of Corporate membership prices is available to download from the right hand side of this page.
Discounts are offered on all adult single and joint Bodyline cards. The family can join too, all cards offered are available on a plus option (2 people residing at the same address) and a junior (aged 12 to 16th birthday) can be added.

Health benefits
It has been proven that regular physical activity can give you major physical and psychological benefits
Regular physical activity at recommended levels is associated with:
- lower risk of death from all causes
- reduced risk of developing coronary heart disease
- lowering of high blood pressure
- greater weight loss
- halve the risk of heart attack
- lower mortality from cancer of the colon
- lower incidence of non-insulin dependent diabetes
- improved muscle strength and flexibility in elderly people
- reduction in mild anxiety and depression
- improved memory in elderly people
- increased energy levels
- helping you to feel and look good
Look at the facts
- Coronary heart disease accounts for 29% of all male deaths and 23% of all female deaths.
- Death rates from coronary heart disease in the UK are amongst the highest in the world.
- Death rates from coronary heart disease in Leeds are amongst the highest in the UK.
- 57% of men and 48% of women are over weight.
- Only16% of men and 5% of woman in the 16-64 age range participate in regular vigorous intensity activity.
- There are two recommendations regarding the amount of physical activity required for health gain.
- At least 30 minutes of moderate activity 5 days a week, will achieve health benefits to minimise premature death.
- At least 20 minutes of vigorous activity 3 or more days a week, will maximise aerobic fitness as well as reducing mortality.
- Improved self esteem and confidence.
