  • Swim4Free
    For those aged 16 and under and over 60 you can Swim4Free at sessions not highlighted with an asterisk in the swimming timetable(*).
  • General Swimming
    This session is aimed at adults and children of varying abilities.
  • Family Swimming
    For adults and children of varying abilities. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • General Lane Session
    Aimed at those wanting to swim in lanes.
  • General Lane Session (Adults)
    Aimed at adults wanting to swim in lanes.
  • Aqua Aerobics
    A fun, energetic workout in the water to music – ideal for all levels.
  • Women only
    Exclusive use for women.
  • Swimming Lessons
    Available for adults and children following the Leeds Learn to Swim Programme.

Safety regulations: children under 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult (16yrs+).  One adult can supervise a maximum of 2 children under 8 years old.

Our Bodyline gym has 32 stations of the most up-to-date life fitness equipment. With a range of both cardio and resistance machines.

To use the Bodyline gym you do not have to be a member however we do ask all customers to complete an induction on their first visit to the gym. The induction is carried out by a fully qualified fitness professional who will demonstrate and explain how to use the equipment.  They will explain the many benefits you can expect and look forward to achieving. You will also be offered a specific fitness programme to help you maximise your goals and reach towards your full potential. To book an induction please contact the centre.

We also have junior Bodyline gym sessions for 12 to 15 year olds.  Please see the opening times below for session times.

We also have a range of fitness classes for all ages and abilities, below are a sample of the some of the classes we offer.

  • Kick start
    An exclusive new fitness class every Friday morning at 8.15am to 9am. Experience a unique way to burn calories and shape up ready for the weekend.
  • DancerciseFun, new inclusive fitness workout using a variation of different dance styles each week. Try it and learn some new moves for the dance floor.
  • Ultimate Cardio Blast
    This is a high intensity aerobic and resistance fitness class to maximise your fitness gains.  A must for people looking for that little extra.
  • Step and Tone
    A great cardio vascular workout using a step or platform to intensify the workout, this is followed with resistance training.
  • Ultimate Workout
    A unique fitness class exclusive to East Leeds, Ultimate Workout is a one hour and thirty minute class that is aimed at improving muscular endurance and conditioning.
  • Boxercise
    Incorporates a number of boxing moves and techniques without the physical contact, suitable for both men and women.
  • Fat burn
    A high energy aerobic workout to maximise your results to achieve your goals.
  • Body Tone
    New fitness class for Monday nights, consisting of aerobics and resistance training to help loose weight and tone up.
  • Active Life
    A two hour session of various activities aimed at keeping fit and healthy in later life. Choose from: Badminton (equipment provided), table tennis, swimming, gym (induction needed) and a fitness class 12md to 1pm. Take part in all or part of the sessions. Free Tea and Coffee provided.
  • Yoga
    Yoga helps you feel better. Practicing the postures, breathing exercises and meditation makes you healthier in body, mind and spirit. Yoga lets you tune in, chill out, shape up all at the same time.
  • Aqua Aerobics
    A fun energetic workout in the water to music – ideal for all levels; work at your own pace and experience the effectiveness of exercise in water.
  • Fit Ball
    Excellent for improvements in endurance, strength, mobility, posture, balance and body awareness. Try it and see for yourself.
  • Step
    A great cardio vascular workout using a step or platform to intensify the workout. It is a low impact class so there is minimum stress on the joints.
  • Pilates
    An ideal opportunity to make improvements to your co-ordination, alignment, stamina and concentration.
  • Legs Bums Tums:
    Classic low impact exercise focusing on the muscular conditioning of the whole body.
  • 20/20/20
    Fitness class comprising of three 20 minute sessions such as legs, bums and tums, aerobics, step, circuits and much more. Guaranteed to keep you motivated.
  • Community Referral programme
    A circuit class for people with diabetes or heart problems. Class is only open to people who have a referral from their GP and their partners
  • Heartwatch
    A fully supported cardiac programme for referrals only.

activities

We offer a varied programme of activities for children and young people.

  • Activate
    Various sports for young people aged 8 to 12 years old, Tuesday evenings after school.
  • Junior weights sessions
    Junior weight sessions are held everyday for 12 to15 year olds within our state of the art Bodyline Gym. Before your first session you need to have an induction to ensure you know how to use all the equipment safely and effectively.  The gym instructor will then issue you with an induction card, this will need to be shown at reception at every gym visit. Before returning to the gym for your next session you must book in at reception either over the phone or on site.
    Session times are Monday to Friday 3.15pm to 4pm and 4pm to 4.45pm, on a Saturday and Sunday our time slots change to 11am to 12md and 12md to 1pm.

Badminton
To play on an informal basis bookings can be made seven days in advance or eight days if you have a LeedsCard by ringing the centre reception.  Courts must be pre booked to ensure availability.

We have two squash courts. To play on an informal basis bookings can be made seven days in advance or eight days if you have a LeedsCard by ringing the centre reception.  Courts must be pre booked to ensure availability.

Crèche

  • A crèche is available Monday to Friday from 9.45am to 12.15pm for 2 years plus. Booking is essential. Parents must remain in the building,crèche is for 3 months up to 4 years.

Bodyline

Bodyline membership

Book a facility online
If you have a Leedscard, Breezecard, Bodyline card, induction card or corporate sport pass you can now book leisure centre facilities online. Bookable facilities include squash, badminton, 5-a-side and table tennis. Please click on the link below to take you to the login screen.  You will need your card number to make a booking.
