The Local and Family History Library holds free monthly Family History for Beginners sessions which are aimed at absolute novices in this subject, or people who have just started and need a bit of help and advice.

They include useful hints and tips on how to get started, and practical advice from our friendly and experienced staff.

The sessions are held in the 3rd floor meeting room, Leeds Central Library.

The library also runs sessions on using the internet to research your family history. These sessions look at various websites that can help with your research and take place regularly at Leeds Central Library. Please contact us for forthcoming dates and times.
