Leeds City Museum's new FREE special exhibition!

Dr Rock's Lost Gallery
29 January - 4 July 2010
3rd floor

Builders working on a new exhibition at Leeds City Museum have discovered a lost gallery inhabited by a rogue museum curator.

The curator, Dr Rock, is a member of the museum team that has been missing from his usual workplace for quite sometime. It seems Dr Rock, a mineral fanatic, has been slowly gathering materials for his own unauthorised exhibition about his favourite subject.

Since Dr Rock has put together such a fascinating exhibition Leeds City Museum had to open this space for free to the public so they could enjoy it too. Although he is hard to track down Dr Rock will be visiting the gallery from time to time to explain to visitors what exactly he has been up to, but if he you don’t catch him there are plenty of films that he has made to view.

You’ll also be able to see poisonous rocks, human implants and the effects of putting a mobile phone in a blender!
