As a free visitor attraction, the new museum welcomes a wide range of visitors from Leeds and beyond.

The museum presents lively and informative displays drawn from the impressive collections of objects and art works owned and cared for by Leeds Museums and Galleries.

In the museum, the Life on Earth gallery is dedicated to natural history, and features the much loved Leeds Tiger that was once on display at Leeds Central Library; Ancient Worlds which includes the Leeds Mummy 'Nessy; the World View gallery which opens with an exhibition showcasing Africa; and of course, The Leeds Story gallery which looks at Leeds from pre-historic times to the modern day.

All activities and admission to the museum are free
