Your local library is family friendly and we welcome children and babies of all ages.
Libraries have:
- family matters collections
- books on family, feelings, health, new experiences, being safe and family learning
- healthy living collections, books and DVDs designed to help you and the family get healthy and stay healthy
- family learning sessions
- family reading groups
- family events
Leeds libraries have signed up to the campaign run by the National Childbirth Trust and Leeds PCT which aims to identify restaurants, cafes, shops and other public places where mums are welcome to breastfeed (libraries do not have designated breastfeeding areas).
