Planning applications - finding out about new ones

You can view new applications on Public Access.  A user manual is available from the right of the screen which explains how to make the most of the system including saving searches, commenting on and tracking applications.

You can also find out about new planning applications from site notices which are posted close to the site of an application.  Neighbours may be notified by letter about a nearby application.

Lists of new applications are available in libraries and at the Development enquiry centre. The lists are often featured in local newspapers. All new applications are open public inspection and comment.  A minimum of 21 days allowed for the public to comment on applications.
