This strategy updates the original Leeds Older Peoples Housing Strategy, Home Not Alone 2005-2010.
In the document we have set out how we will work with partners to meet the challenges of an ageing society, help older people make choices of how to manage independent living and receive support where it is needed.
The strategy and action plan aims to create greater housing and support options for older people who rent or own their own home. It also identifies how we can maximise opportunities for independent living.
A key aim is to ensure that we work with partner organisations to provide joined up services for older people seeking advice on housing, health and wider support needs.
