Leeds Homelessness Strategy 2010-2013
The Homelessness Strategy Action Plan sets out our vision for tackling homelessness in the city over the next three years. We have developed it within the context of national and local priorities. It includes a number of actions and objectives which we have framed around the following six key strategic themes:
- Maximising opportunities to prevent homelessness
- Reducing the incidence of temporary accommodation
- Eradicating rough sleeping in the city
- Improving supported housing delivery
- Addressing the wider issues relating to homelessness
- Delivering an enhanced housing options service
We have developed The Homelessness Strategy Action Plan in partnership with key agencies and services in the city. The Leeds Homelessness Forum oversees the city-wide implementation of the actions within the strategy.
