But if you would like to chat with someone about what’s available, contact Leeds Community Equipment Service (LCES) on 0113 247 8682 or 247 4453. When you have finished with the equipment

Once you have no further use for the equipment it is returned or collected, cleaned and, where possible, re-used. Contact LCES on 0113 247 7387 if you no longer need your equipment.

If you have complex mobility difficulties

If you have very complex mobility difficulties you may wish to arrange an assessment by a physiotherapist to help determine what equipment and services you need. This can be arranged through your district nurse or GP – if you need advice about finding someone to refer you, contact  NHS Leeds

Support if you have a visual impairment

Rehabilitation officers can help if you have a visual impairment. They carry out registration visits and assessments for people who are newly registered as blind or partially sighted. They can arrange training for you in mobility skills, independent living skills and Braille.

For further information, contact Shire View Resource Centre for Blind and Partially Sighted People on 0113 214 4544.
