If you have difficulty preparing your own meals at home, you can have pre-prepared hot or frozen meals delivered to you. You can pre-select which meals you want to be delivered and we can also take account of any special dietary requirements you may have.
English, Asian, Afro-Caribbean and meals to meet specialist dietary requirements are available.
In some parts of Leeds, you can have several days supply of frozen meals delivered to you, which only have to be heated up (a small freezer can also be provided on loan, if you don’t have one).
The meals on wheels service is only available following an assessment of your needs. The length of time that you may need the service can vary from a few weeks (for example while recovering from a hospital visit), to as long as you want. The service costs £2.20 per meal and £1.30 per snack.
