The Leeds Fostering Service launched the Children's Workforce Development Council (CWDC) standards in June 2009. This page is designed to provide access for foster carers to documents included in the foster carer personal development portfolio.

Support groups
Foster carer support groups are part of the payment for skills scheme requirements and provide additional opportunities for training and development (including guest speakers).

Leeds Foster Care Association
The LFCA is a campaigning, independent organisation supporting Leeds foster carers. Membership is free and provides access to a range of support, advice, social events and more. To find out more, please contact 0113 2870804 or follow the link to the LFCA website on this page.
