Wedding Open Weekend

 

Planning your wedding?  Come and meet the wedding teams at Temple Newsam House and the Walled Garden Marquee. 

In the House, the Dining Room will be dressed for a civil ceremony while the Great Hall will have a table set for a wedding breakfast.  The Walled Garden will also be partially displayed for a wedding breakfast, with the main area of the marquee dressed for a wedding reception.

Marquee staff and caterers will be passing with canapes and bubbly and IDo magazine will be present to take your details and give information regarding the venue, along with a free goody bag.

The perfect venue for a perfect day.

Finding your way to Temple Newsam. By bus: The number 10 bus runs directly to Temple Newsam House throughout the Easter school holidays until the end of the Autumn School Holidays. By car: Temple Newsam is just off the M1 (junction 46 from the South and junction 46 from the North). If you are using a route planner, our postcode is LS15 0AE. Parking  

There are a number of car parks available at Temple Newsam for visitors, most of which have designated disabled parking bays.

House car park - Close to House and within easy walking distance to the Stable Courtyard and Home Farm, this car park has ample flat parking and is patrolled. Please note that charges apply except for blue badge holders.

Home Farm car park - This large free car park is close to Home Farm, the walled gardens and the grounds.
The Lodge car park - A small car park close to the North Plantation.
Stable Courtyard - very limited disabled parking with preference given to people who have pre-booked electric scooters.
Relief car park - This large free car park is a short uphill walk to the main attractions, but close to a large playing field.
Walled Garden - limited disabled access spaces are available directly outside the Walled Garden.

Coaches are advised to park in the House car park.
