​A fun-packed day out for all the family with opportunities to see and hold hold animals, pretend to be an animal courtesy of our face painters and get crafty with our animal themed activities.

Visit Leeds City Museum and come face-to-face with the Leeds Tiger, step into 'Ancient Worlds' and see the final resting place of the Leeds Mummy and even dig for fossils in the 'Life on Earth' gallery.

Leeds City Museum is a 15 minute walk from the city centre bus station and 10 minutes from Leeds Railway Station. It is well serviced by all routes travelling to the city-centre. Please contact Metroline for up-to-date travel information on (0113) 245 7676.

Parking  

Metered street parking is available nearby on Rossington Street and Cookridge Street. Secure car parking is available in Woodhouse Lane, The Light, Merrion Centre and Rose Bowl car parks, which are a 5 or 10 minute walk from the Gallery.
