The Royal Opera House, Puccini's Tosca on Thursday 18 July at 7.30pm (gates open at 6.30pm, pre-show at 7pm)
Passion, intrigue, revenge, a star diva and fabulous music, Tosca is one of the great opera experiences. Come and learn the story of the idealistic lovers Tosca and Cavaradossi, and of the evil Baron Scarpia who plots their destruction.
Location: Millennium Square is the city's award winning outdoor public space and multi-purpose entertainment venue situated in the heart of the city centre (see map below). Surrounded by the Leeds General Infirmary, Town Hall, Civic Hall, Electric Press and City Museum, this stylish civic setting is the ideal venue to experience the magic of opera and ballet relayed live outdoors.
Attendees are welcome to seat themselves within the controlled and accessible area created on Millennium Square. Covered seating (with restricted capacity), toilets and a coffee cart will be provided on site, but you may also bring your own collapsible furniture and picnic.
