‚ÄčAn insight into writers' minds using the Pecha Kucha rapid slide-show format that gets to the point fast and covers a range of perspectives.

The joy of Pecha Kucha is learning things you didn't expect!

Writers including Alison Taft, Becky Cherriman, Liz McPherson and K T Jukes will each present 20 slides lasting 20 seconds conveying their experiences of writing.

This high speed approach started in Tokyo in 2005 and has spread across the world!

Suitable for adults.

Access  

There is on street parking or public parking to the side of the building. Access is dependent on where the vehicle is parked. The surface is mainly concrete and paving slabs with curbs, many of which are uneven. There is the possibility of crossing a quiet road. The nearest public transport is approximately 200 metres away down a pathway at the side of the library. The library is accessed via a slightly sloped ramp then through a set of doors. Although there are two floors to this library, all services provided upstairs are also available on the ground level.  Touch Screen monitor, large keyboard, mouse and trackball, Boardmaker and adjustable desk are also available.  There are low level areas and an Induction loop is installed on the counter.
