Access

There are six accessible library car parking bays directly to the side of the library building, one of which is marked as a disabled parking bay.  The surface is tarmac and concrete and fairly even, although there is a slight slope, and it is approximately fifteen metres to the entrance.  The nearest bus stop is immediately in front of the library ten metres away but access is either down several steps or down a slight slope before the surface levels.  Entrance is via automatic doors and the library is on one level and has no inaccessible areas.  The meeting room is also fully accessible.  There is one accessible toilet.  Large keyboard and mouse, trackball and adjustable desk are available.  There are low level areas and an Induction loop is installed on the counter.

Public transport

The library is on the local bus routes. Please contact Metroline for up-to-date travel information on (0113) 245 7676
