Santas Grotto

Drop-in festive fun!


Saturdays 2pm - 4pm

Sundays 10am-12 and 2pm-4pm

​Start feeling festive with a visit to see Father Christmas in his Abbey House grotto and don't forget to bring your camera. 

Have fun in our Victorian streets writing your Christmas list and decorate a bauble to take home.


Price:   Usual admission applies - Santa's Grotto is £4 per child.

Finding your way to Abbey House Museum. By bus: Bus numbers 33, 33a and 757 travel from the city centre to Kirkstall Road. By train: The nearest train station is Headingley which is a 1 mile walk from the Museum. Please contact Metroline for up-to-date travel information on (0113) 245 7676. By car: If you are using a route planner, our postcode is LS5 3EH.


A large free car park is situated next to Abbey House Museum on Abbey Walk. This includes disabled parking.

There is an additional disabled access parking space immediately outside of the museum entrance.
