There is on street parking only, and access is dependent on where the vehicle is parked.  The surface is mainly concrete and paving slabs with curbs.  There is the possibility of crossing a busy road via a pelican crossing.   There are a number of areas of paving slabs which are uneven.  The nearest public transport is approximately 20 metres away.  The library is accessed via two steps and is then all on one level through two sets of doors.  Wheelchair access is at the back of the building, press the bell for staff to open the door and assist.  There are no public toilets.  Touch screen, large keyboard and mouse, trackball, screen magnifier and Boardmaker are also available.  There are low level areas and an Induction loop is installed on the counter.

Public transport

The library is on the local bus routes. Please contact Metroline for up-to-date travel information on (0113) 245 7676
