Observation Wheel Leeds (OWL)

16 February 2013 - 15 March 2013

Towering taller than Nelson's Column at the dizzy height of 60m, the observation wheel is the first of its kind to ever visit Leeds.

Passengers will be able to enjoy stunning views over the roof tops and around the city of Leeds, anticipated to extend up to 10 miles. During the 12-minute ride there will be a multi channel audio commentary to entertain the public and give a description of what they can see. It is suitable for all ages and can accommodate wheelchairs users.

The impressive wheel, which previously attended both the Olympics and Royal wedding celebrations, has 40 fully enclosed, illuminated gondolas, carrying up to six passengers each.
