Access

There is on street parking only. The library is situated on a corner of a five exit junction at the bottom of a steep road; therefore there is the possibility of crossing a very busy road via pelican crossings. The surrounding public foot paths are fairly old and uneven in many places.  The path and slope within the library grounds are smooth. The building is quite high so there is a sloping path then a ramp to gain access to the main entrance. The nearest public transport is approximately 500 metres away across busy roads. The library is accessed via a wide door then all services are on one level. Touch screen monitor, large keyboard, mouse and trackball, Boardmaker and adjustable desk are also available. There are low level areas and an Induction loop is installed on the counter.

Public transport

The library is on the local bus routes. Please contact Metroline for up-to-date travel information on (0113) 245 7676
