National Disability Tag Rugby Festival

Disability rugby event taking place at Headingley Carnegie Stadium on 24th September

 

This September will once again see the National Disability Tag Rugby festival take place at Headingley Carnegie Stadium. This fantastic annual event is co-ordinated by Leeds City Council in partnership with Leeds Rugby, the Rugby Football Union and the Rugby Football League and is the largest dual code disability rugby event of its kind in the country.

Now in its 13th year, this September we expect to see between 20 to 40 teams (200-400 disabled people) from across Leeds, Yorkshire and beyond attending. The festival is open for ambulant children, young people and adults with a learning disability and/or moderate physical disability, with ability levels from beginners through to more advanced players.​
