Medieval activities and mini farm

18 May 2013 10:30am - 3:30pm

A taste of the past

On our outdoor market, come and enjoy a taste of the past, with medieval cookery demonstrations over an open fire, live medieval music and children's activities throughout the day, brought to you from ‘You are what you ate’. There will be information about what people ate in the past and a short history of markets. There'll also be a separate mini farm in the market square. These events form part of the national Love Your Local Market fortnight, celebrating all that's great about local markets.
