Magical Christmas at Lotherton

A winter wonderland of music, entertainment and much more!

This magical Christmas weekend will be a winter wonderland of music, entertainment and crafts with the chance to visit Santa's Grotto.

There's lots going on across the Estate to make it a very special day to remember.

In the House there will be magic entertainment (11.30am, 1pm and 3pm), a performance by the Leeds College of Music (2pm and 3pm), Christmas card and decoration making (11am), storytelling (1pm) and Santa's Grotto (£1 per child).

Join us at 11am in the Stable Courtyard for wreath making and make a bird feeder in the Bird Garden.

In our Formal Gardens there will be train rides on the miniature steam railway (10am to 4pm) £1 per person.

In our cafe there will be a festive menu available all day and face painting available (11am - 1pm on Saturday and 11am to 3pm on Sunday).

Public transport

Bus numbers 64 and 64A go to Aberford from Leeds City Centre. There is then approximately a 20 minute walk. There is also a summer bus service - the number 950 from Leeds City Bus Station via Temple Newsam, Garforth and Aberford. The nearest train station is Garforth, located 4 miles away. Parking

Entrance prices include admission to the hall and estate and parking charges are included in your visit. There is plenty of parking available.

Pay and display parking alone is available during off peak hours only and is £3.70 per car or £15.00 for an off peak season ticket.

Off peak hours are until 10.00am and after 3.15pm in the winter and 4.15pm in the summer.
