​Calling all young super sleuths! Kate Pankhurst's illustrated books follow intrepid Mariella Mystery, a detective who hasn't let the fact that she's 9 years old get in her way!

Mariella is ready to get to the bottom of the freaky but mysterious Hair Scare!

Join Kate Pankhurst for storytelling and drawing, investigate the Huge Hair Scare, design some scary hairstyles and make your own detective characters.

Suitable for children aged 7 years and over.

Access  

There is on street parking or public parking to the side of the building. Access is dependent on where the vehicle is parked. The surface is mainly concrete and paving slabs with curbs, many of which are uneven. There is the possibility of crossing a quiet road. The nearest public transport is approximately 200 metres away down a pathway at the side of the library. The library is accessed via a slightly sloped ramp then through a set of doors. Although there are two floors to this library, all services provided upstairs are also available on the ground level.  Touch Screen monitor, large keyboard, mouse and trackball, Boardmaker and adjustable desk are also available.  There are low level areas and an Induction loop is installed on the counter.
