Take part in fun activities and trails, including crafts, experiments, art and investigating nature.

Please note our opening hours on Saturday and Sunday are 1pm to 5pm.

A fully-restored working watermill which is nestled on an island location between the River Aire and the Aire & Calder Navigation.

Thwaite Mills is a dog-friendly site and we welcome well-behaved dogs on leads.

By bus: The 110 runs between Leeds bus station and Thwaite Mills Watermill. By train: The Mill is 2.5 miles from Leeds Railway Station. By car: Thwaite Mills is very close to the M1 (junction 43 from the South, junction 44 from the North). Parking  

There is free parking at the front of the museum, with disabled parking immediately outside the entrance.
