Access

There is a public car park adjacent to the library building.  Although there are no dedicated library parking bays there are three disabled bays available for public use immediately to the rear of the building.  The surface from the car park is concrete and tarmac and even; it is approximately 50 metres to the entrance.  The nearest bus stop is approximately 100 metres away on an even surface.  The accessible entrance faces onto the main road.  The entrance doors to the main library are automatic and the library is all on one level.  There is one public toilet but this is not suitable for wheelchair users.  Large keyboard, trackball and mouse and adjustable desk and Boardmaker are available. There are low level areas and an Induction loop is installed on the counter.

Public transport

The library is on the local bus routes. Please contact Metroline for up-to-date travel information on (0113) 245 7676
