Family friendly guided tours

Kirkstall Abbey.

10:15am - 11:00am every Friday between 26 July 2013 and 30 August 2013.

Tour suitable for families.


A guided tour of the abbey ruins for families.  Plenty of fun facts to keep children and adults entertained but not suitable for very small children.

Please note this tour will also run at 11:15am until 12pm.

Visit one of the best preserved Cistercian monasteries in the country and step back in time to see how the monks lived. Refreshments are available from the Gatehouse café across the road at Abbey House Museum.

Finding your way to Kirkstall Abbey. By bus: Bus numbers 33, 33a and 757 travel from the city centre to Kirkstall Road. A large free car park is situated opposite Kirkstall Abbey, on Abbey Walk. This includes disabled access parking.
