Walk: 3.30pm to 4.30pm

Join Dr Rebecca Wade on a walk through the history of exhibitions in nineteenth-century Leeds to discover the unusual spaces where painting and sculpture, the latest technological developments and intriguing curiosities were displayed side by side.  Meet on the steps of Leeds City Museum.

Talk: 5.30pm to 6.30pm

Refreshments will be provided in the Brodrick Room of Leeds City Museum from 4.30pm (formerly the Arena), followed by a talk at 5.30pm, which will illustrate the exhibitions 'visited' on the walk and provide an opportunity to discuss these fascinating cultural activities.

Leeds City Museum is located in the stunning Leeds Institute building on Millennium Square in Leeds city centre.
