Elland Silver Band performs at Lotherton Hall Estate.


Join the Elland Silver Band at Lotherton Hall Estate on Sunday 21 July at 2.30pm for a free concert of popular band music.

Elland Silver Band is right at the heart of the largest banding scene in the brass band world. The band is currently in the third section, and performs at around thirty concerts, events and contests annually across Yorkshire and other parts of the country. The band has also performed on the ITV dramas Where the Heart Is and Last of the Summer Wine.

The bands repertoire is very comprehensive including arrangements of popular orchestral classics, from film music to jazz and popular selections, and of course, brass band standards and marches.

Finding your way to Lotherton Hall. By bus: Bus numbers 64 and 64A go to Aberford from Leeds City Centre. There is then an approximate 20-30 minute walk. By train: The nearest train station is Garforth, located 4 miles away. By car: Lotherton Hall is situated off Collier Lane which is just off junction 47 of the M1. Entrance prices include admission to the hall and estate and parking charges are included in your visit. There is plenty of parking available.

Pay and display parking alone is available during off peak hours only. Off peak hours are until 10.00am and after 3.15pm in the winter and 4.15pm in the summer.
