Children outdoors at Thwaite Mills Watermill.

Drop-in activity suitable for families.

 

Join us in our museum grounds (weather permitting) to create some green artwork including moss painting, chalk patterns and leaf paintings.

A fully-restored working watermill which is nestled on an island location between the River Aire and the Aire & Calder Navigation.

By bus: The 110 runs between Leeds bus station and Thwaite Mills Watermill. By train: The Mill is 2.5 miles from Leeds Railway Station. By car: Thwaite Mills is very close to the M1 (junction 43 from the South, junction 44 from the North). Parking  

There is free parking at the front of the museum, with disabled parking immediately outside the entrance.
