CSI Discovery

Adult evening classes.

 

Following the success of last year's CSI Discovery school and family workshops, we are pleased to announce a series of 6 evening classes run by Dr. Janet Fletcher (Osteoarchaeologist and Director of Chapel House Wood Ritual Landscape Research Project) at Leeds Museum Discovery Centre this summer.
 
The 6 consecutive sessions will run on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:30pm beginning on 11th June 2013 and will include a tour of the research and storage facilities at LMDC, supervised access to Leeds Museums' human skeletal remains collection, basic skeletal anatomy, processes affecting the body after death, determination of age / sex and reconstructing past lives.

Leeds Museum Discovery Centre is a unique museum resource. Housing and caring for Leeds' fantastic collections, the Discovery Centre is a state-of-the-art storage facility. The Discovery Centre will open on Saturdays and Sundays for advertised workshops and conferences only, these need to be booked in advance. Please refer to the specific event for times.

Parking  

A large free car park is situated on site with access from Sayner Lane. This includes disabled parking (two designated bays).
