Although not dedicated to library customers there is accessible parking to the side of the library building approximately 20 metres from the entrance. This is limited to two hours unless a blue badge is displayed. The surface is concrete and paving slabs, which are mostly uneven.  There is a library parking area to the other side but this is an uneven unmade surface. The nearest bus stop is approximately 200 metres from the library up a steep hill in front of the shopping centre via a number of steep steps. Entrance to the library is via a set of double automatic doors. The library is mainly on one level with the exception of some IT stations. There are three accessible public toilets; male, female and disabled. Touch screen monitor, large keyboard, trackball and mouse, magnifier screen, Boardmaker and adjustable desk are also available. There are low level areas and an Induction loop is installed on the counter.
