Horsforth Hall Park is a large community park about six miles north-west of Leeds city centre.

Address:
Horsforth Hall Park
Hall Lane
Horsforth
Leeds
LS18 5JE

Tel: 0113 2581511

Facilities:
The park is open to the public 365 days a year. Visitors to the park can enjoy a leisurely stroll around the park, a relaxing game of bowls, watch a cricket match, a walk around the Japanese Garden or spend a Sunday afternoon enjoying one of the summer bands in the park with entertainment from some of the region’s leading brass bands (see the Parks and Countryside events page for further details).

The park has a specially designed outdoor integrated play facility allowing disabled and able bodied children under the age of eight to play together. The equipment is designed to provide various stimuli, including role play and the development of manipulative skills. This play area was the first of its kind in Leeds with HIPPO (The Horsforth Integrated Play Project) and Mencap working together with the Parks and Countryside service for the benefit of the local community.

There is a playground for the older children which now includes a new climbing feature called a 'Spider’s Web'. This was purchased with the help of a contribution from 'The Friends of Hall Park' who play a valuable role in helping to improve the facilities within the park.

There is also a skatepark at the far end of the park which has proved to be very popular with the older children and teenagers who visit the park.

Most footpaths in the park are suitable for the majority of manual and electric wheelchairs users.

Location:
By car – from Leeds city centre take the A58 and continue forward onto the A65 past Kirkstall Abbey. Turn right at the next roundabout onto Broadway and left at the traffic lights onto Fink Hill.
