The Rangers, along with other Parks and Countryside staff and volunteers, run a wide range of public events in order to promote the wildlife and green spaces of Leeds.  These events include

  • wildlife discovery days
  • fungus forays
  • bushcraft skills
  • guided walks
  • arts and crafts
  • wildlife identification training
  • family fun days
  • Kids Go Wild! events

We also help community groups with the organising of events, and run activities at other public events, such as the Breeze Festivals that run throughout the summer all over Leeds.

To find out more about Ranger-led events, email countrysiderangers@leeds.gov.uk or call 0113 237 5312.
