Parks and countryside rangers work to promote and protect wildlife and green spaces in your local area. Our work focuses on nature conservation sites that are managed for the benefit of wildlife. There are over 150 of these in Leeds, ranging from the beautiful wildflower meadows of Townclose Hills to the ancient oak woodlands of Middleton Woods and the moors and crags of Otley Chevin.
